Working in partnership for a healthy catchment

Welcome to the North Central
Regional Catchment Strategy 2021-27

The North Central Catchment Management Authority (CMA) prepares the Regional Catchment Strategy (RCS) on behalf of the region. It’s the overarching strategy for all involved in managing land, water and biodiversity. The RCS sets a vision for integrated management across the region, identifies priorities and targets, providing a framework to coordinate effort.

Development of the North Central RCS for 2021-27 has been a collaborative process involving government and non-government organisations, Traditional Owners, and the broader community. This RCS builds on the achievements and lessons from the past and looks forward to the next six years and beyond, considering challenges and opportunities.

We invite you to explore the RCS, learn about our region, and get involved. By working together we can protect and improve the health of our catchments for future generations.
